I love chocolate but I also love fruit. The combination of the two always tastes great!! These chocolate peanut butter covered bananas are an easy and tasty sweet treat.
These are one of those treats that we came up with when we wanted to make something with the ingredients that we had on hand. They were so delicious!! I really love the combination of the chocolate and the peanut butter with the banana. These are great for an easy snack or a great dessert.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Covered Banana
1 Banana, cut into pieces
1/8 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/8 cup peanut butter chips
Sprinkles (optional)
1. Combine the chocolate chips and the peanut butter chips. Add a splash of vegetable oil to make melting easier, and then microwave in 15 second increments and stir until melted.
2. Dip the banana pieces in the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture. If desired, put sprinkles on the melted chocolate.
